The Petrosa in the 2025 summer of Vibonati and Villammare

The 2025 edition was part of a particularly rich program, extending from June 27 to August 31 between the historic center of Vibonati, the Museo Logos, and the squares of Villammare. The «Petrosa» event took place on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 9:00 PM in Piazza Portosalvo, the square overlooking the promenade that hosts most of the hamlet's summer evenings.

Around that date, other highlights of the summer followed: the «Il Protagonista» award to Carmen Lasorella on August 2 in Piazza S. Gerbaso, the evenings of the Feast of Maria SS. di Portosalvo on August 9 and 10, mid-month comedy shows, and, from August 22 to 29, the Villammare Festival – Film & Friends between the Piazzetta Cattedrale in Vibonati and Piazza Portosalvo. A program that confirmed the role of the Petrosa as a cultural reference point for the Municipality of Vibonati, in the province of Salerno, in the heart of Cilento overlooking the Gulf of Policastro.
