Premio Penne 2025: The Winners

The 2025 edition of the Premio Penne, the 47th for the Fiction section and the 31st for Poetry, took place on October 6-7, 2025, across Penne, Pescara, and Chieti. The International Fiction Prize was awarded to Chiara Francini for the novel Le querce non fanno limoni (Rizzoli), while the International Poetry Prize went to Sonia Gentili for Un giorno di guerra (Aragno).

The main ceremony was held on October 6 at 5:00 PM at the Cloister of San Domenico in Penne, preceded in the morning by a university presentation in the Great Hall of the Gabriele d'Annunzio University in Pescara. The edition confirmed the prize's vocation to unite great literature, the academic world, and young readers from the Vestina area.
