Premio Internazionale Massimo Urbani

XXIX Edition — June 19-21, 2025

The 2025 edition of the Premio Internazionale Massimo Urbani brought ten finalists from all over Italy to Camerino, in the Province of Macerata. The event, organized by the Associazione Musicamdo Jazz, spanned three days at the Rocca Borgesca and in the city's venues.

Jury and finalists

The jury was chaired by saxophonist Max Ionata, one of the most representative Italian jazz musicians. The ten finalists were accompanied by a trio composed of Emilio Marinelli on piano, Gabriele Pesaresi on double bass, and Massimo Manzi on drums.

Three days of jazz

The program alternated between the university preview, musical aperitifs, final evenings, and late-night jam sessions, culminating in the awards ceremony and the closing concert, reaffirming Camerino as the summer capital of jazz in the Marche region.
