Edition 2025 — Premio Giunco
Premio Giunco 2025: the 6th edition
The sixth edition of Premio Giunco was held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 9:30 PM, in the evocative Masseria Fortificata di Celsorizzo, in Acquarica, in the municipality of Presicce-Acquarica (Lecce). The direction and artistic supervision were entrusted to choreographer Fredy Franzutti, with the Balletto del Sud; the evening was hosted by actor and television personality Luca Calvani.
On stage, the company's principal dancers and soloists, including Nuria Salado Fustè, Alice Leoncini, Ovidiu Chitanu, Robert Chacon, and Marco Pio Nestola, performed alongside actor Andrea Sirianni and surprise international guests. Franzutti created a "tapestry" between masterpieces of dance, music, and theater and the history of the farmhouse and the reed-weaving tradition.
As per tradition, the names of the winners in the three categories — local Acquarica territory, culture, and economy/development — were revealed only at the end of the evening, promoted by the Associazione Fili di Giunco.
