The XXXI Edition (2025)

The 2025 edition, the thirty-first, took place in Matera from September 1 to 13, confirming the award's international vocation. The awards ceremony was held on Saturday, September 13, at 7:30 PM, on the terrace of Palazzo Lanfranchi, with the announcement of the winning short story and the best text suitable for a short film adaptation.

The jury consisted of Raphael Ebgi (Vita-Salute San Raffaele University), Fabrizio Minnella (Fondazione Con il Sud), and Gianluigi Trevisi (director of Time Zones). On the same evening, the ceremony for the Premio Energheia Europa took place, a competition for short stories aimed at young Europeans and Middle Easterners aged 18 to 30, with participating countries such as Austria, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Slovenia, and Spain.
