Prato Film Festival

The 2025 edition of the Prato Film Festival confirmed the formula that has made the event a benchmark for short cinema in Tuscany. In Prato, between the Convitto Nazionale Cicognini, the Teatro Francesco Nuti, and other city spaces, the festival featured short films in competition divided into the usual thematic sections, from human rights to the environment, from drama to comedy.

As every year, alongside the shorts, the program included feature film screenings, masterclasses, and meetings with guests from Italian cinema and television, in addition to the award ceremonies. Faithful to its popular vocation, the festival maintained free admission to all screenings, bringing great cinema into schools, theaters, and cultural spaces of the city.
