Edition 2025 — Prader Almfest

On Sunday, August 17, 2025, the Prader Alm hosted the traditional Prader Almfest of the Volunteer Fire Brigade of Prad am Stilfserjoch. A day of celebration in the mountains within the Stelvio National Park, featuring live music, a prize wheel, and local food, accessible on foot from the Furkelhütte or the Fragges parking lot.

Prader Almfest 2025

The 2025 edition of the Prader Almfest took place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Prader Alm, the mountain pasture of Prad in the Stelvio National Park. Organized by the Volunteer Fire Brigade (Freiwillige Feuerwehr) of Prad am Stilfserjoch, the festival featured live music, the traditional prize wheel (Glückstopf), and a rich selection of food and drinks.

The pasture, accessible only on foot via a 20-minute walk from the Furkelhütte or about 2 hours from Fragges, welcomed hikers and families for a day dedicated to mountain conviviality, in the spirit of the Vinschgau Valley village festivals.
