Potato Festival of Piantedo

The eighth edition of the Potato Festival of Piantedo took place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, under the marquee at the Feste Area. The day kicked off at 11:00 AM with the water volleyball tournament, followed by the 6:00 PM happy hour and dinner from 7:00 PM: on the menu were potato gnocchi with ragù or with spinach, casera cheese flakes and butter, octopus with potatoes, taroz and bresaola, roast beef with fries, hamburgers, and potato muffins. The previous evening, Friday, July 18th, the tenth Beer Festival was held with bar and kitchen service and a DJ set. Both events are organized by the Pro Loco of Piantedo, at the entrance to Valtellina in the province of Sondrio.
