Edition 2025 — Portoni, Matassa e Suon

The second edition of Portoni, Matassa e Suon took place in Campagna, in the province of Salerno, from Friday, July 11 to Sunday, July 13, 2025, with the theme of rebellious waters and Southern identity. For three days, the noble doorways of the historic center opened to the public with installations, exhibitions, and wandering music, while Piazza Palatucci hosted tastings of matassa and beans, costareccia, and caciocavallo impiccato.

The 2025 edition of Portoni, Matassa e Suon was held from July 11 to 13 in the historic center of Campagna (Salerno), promoted by SmartLab ETS, MangioTipico, and Chiena Summer Fest with the patronage of the Municipality and the Pro Loco Città di Campagna.

On Friday, July 11, from 8:00 PM, the opening of the noble doorways kicked off the route, with wandering music in the alleys, the exhibition dedicated to Antonio Del Donno at the Municipal Cloister, and a DJ set in Piazza Palatucci. On Saturday, July 12, the square hosted at 9:30 PM a meeting with journalist and writer Pino Aprile on the historical memory of the South, followed late in the evening by a concert by I Valcalore, blending popular tradition and contemporary sounds. On Sunday, July 13, the day opened with a conference dedicated to Mediterranean melodies, continued at noon with the 'a Chiena appointment with free admission, and closed in the afternoon with exhibitions, tastings of typical products, and Cilento folk music.
