Porcini Mushroom Festival

The 24th edition of the Porcini Mushroom Festival was held on August 12 and 13, 2025, along Via Pordenone in Castelvecchio di Sante Marie (AQ), organized by the Associazione Culturale San Martino di Castelvecchio. The dinners, open from 7:30 PM until late at night, featured the event's great classics: fettuccine with porcini, bruschetta with mushroom sauce, chickpeas and porcini, battered zucchini flowers, french fries, sheep arrosticini, sausage sandwiches, and local desserts, all accompanied by Abruzzo wines. The two-day gastronomic event was enriched by live music and fireworks displays, confirming it as one of the most cherished summer events for the community of Castelvecchio and the Marsica region.
