Porchera Festival - Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows

In 2025, the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows in Porchera was held from September 19 to 21. On Friday the 19th, at 8:30 PM, the rosary was held in the church of San Zeno with the San Zeno Choir and a sermon by Don Venanzio on the veneration of Mary of Sorrows. On Saturday the 20th, in the morning, the procession of the statue of Our Lady took place through the streets of Porchera (Via Parini, Via Carlo Porta, Via Collodi); in the afternoon, the Alberto Bianchi Football Tournament and activities for children (bouncy castles, sweets, cotton candy); in the evening, a concert by the band Dona Flor, featuring original South American and Gypsy music with jazz influences. On Sunday the 21st, at 10:30 AM, Mass was held in the kindergarten area presided over by Don Giancarlo, and in the afternoon, the solemn procession with the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows. Organized by the parish of San Zeno and the Casa dei Ragazzi IAMA Onlus.
