Porcelli e Porcini – The Festival of Good Eating

The 24th edition of Porcelli e Porcini was held in Caronia from October 24 to 26, 2025, confirming the success of the autumn festival dedicated to the excellence of the Nebrodi. For three days, the historic center hosted a rich gastronomic trail with risotto and pasta with porcini mushrooms, sausages, ribs and cuts of black pork, local cheeses and ricotta, and traditional desserts.

The program alternated between conferences on food and wine tourism, excursions, musical shows, performances by folk groups and majorettes, cabaret, and DJ sets. Free guided tours of the Norman Castle were also offered for 2025. The event, promoted by the Municipality of Caronia with the support of the Sicilian Region and the Nebrodi Park, attracted numerous visitors to the village in the province of Messina.
