Edition 2025 — Chestnut Festival

In autumn 2025, the hamlet of Porcareccia in Calasca-Castiglione once again celebrated its traditional Chestnut Festival. The Amici di Porcareccia offered roasted chestnuts, a snack with local products, and lively music, confirming this as a popular and highly anticipated event in Valle Anzasca, with free entry.

The Porcareccia Chestnut Festival returned in autumn 2025, faithful to its vocation as a simple and genuine village festival. In the hamlet of Porcareccia, Calasca-Castiglione (VB), the Amici di Porcareccia lit the braziers for the roasted chestnuts and set up a snack with local products, accompanied by lively music.

As every year, the event drew residents, families, and hikers, offering a convivial afternoon dedicated to chestnuts and Ossola tradition in one of the most authentic villages of Valle Anzasca. Entry was free.
