The Thirtieth Anniversary: La Balorda delle Balorde

The 2025 edition marked the thirty years of Popolarissima della Balorda, celebrated on Sunday, May 11, at the Civic Center of Sozzigalli, in Soliera (Province of Modena). For the occasion, renamed "La Balorda delle Balorde", participants were invited to come in costume by freely choosing from all the themes that have characterized past editions: from Japan to comics, from robots to cinema, from the circus to cruises.

Registrations opened from 9:00 AM (with the option of online pre-registration for 15 euros) and closed at noon, while the start of the first of three laps was set for 1:30 PM. Among the surprises was the "Lido Secchia": a stop along the Secchia river where participants left their bikes to dance. The edition attracted over 1,500 participants, confirming La Balorda as one of the most cherished folk festivals in the Bassa modenese.
