Edition 2025 — Poor Man's Fish Festival

The 2025 edition of the Poor Man's Fish Festival took place on Thursday, July 17, 2025, along Viale Italia in Capoliveri. The evening featured typical Elban fish-based dishes: stoccafisso alla riese, cacciucco, marinated or fried sardines, stuffed squid, sburrita, and boiled octopus, all accompanied by local wines. There was also space for children with games and an inflatable.

In 2025, the Poor Man's Fish Festival brought Capoliveri to life on July 17, along Viale Italia, confirming itself as one of the most beloved gastronomic events of the Elban summer. The stalls offered recipes from the island's maritime tradition: stoccafisso alla riese, cacciucco, marinated or fried sardines, stuffed squid, sburrita, and boiled octopus, prepared with the freshest fish and accompanied by the best local wines.

The evening had a family-friendly and convivial atmosphere: in addition to the tastings, games and an inflatable were set up for children, making the festival a must-attend event for all ages in the heart of the Capoliveri summer.
