Pontremoli Literary Prize – City of Books and Family

The fourth edition of the "Pontremoli – City of Books and Family" Literary Prize was held in early July 2025 in the historic center of Pontremoli, in Lunigiana. From a shortlist of six, Andrea Vitali emerged as the winner with "Eredi Piedivico e Famiglia" (Einaudi), a saga recounting the life of a veterinarian and his family between the 1920s and the 1960s.

The final ceremony, hosted by actress Beatrice Fazi, featured a performance by fourteen-year-old saxophonist Alfio Russo, confirming the formula that combines literature, music, and a focus on family themes, which characterizes the prize promoted by the Forum of Family Associations and the Municipality of Pontremoli.
