Pontino Music Festival

61st edition — July 3-31, 2025

The 2025 edition of the Pontino Music Festival featured over twenty concerts in the province of Latina, with more than one hundred musicians involved, including soloists, ensembles, and young artists emerging from the Sermoneta masterclasses. The inaugural concert on July 3, "Louise Farrenc: a woman in the mirror", brought together Anna Bonaiuto (narrating voice), Mihaela Costea (violin), Silvia Chiesa (cello), and Linda Di Carlo (piano).

On July 15 and 16, the traditional International Meetings of Contemporary Music were held in Sermoneta, a moment of exchange between composers, performers, and scholars. The festival closed on July 31 at the Caetani Castle with the French saxophonist Claude Delangle and the Neos Saxophone Ensemble. Tickets were set at 10 euros (15 euros for some evenings), with reduced rates of 5 euros for the Meetings and 2 euros for the young artists' concerts.
