Pontino Music Festival

61st edition: July 3-31, 2025

The 61st Pontino Music Festival, organized by the Campus Internazionale di Musica Foundation, brought life to some of the most evocative locations of the Agro Pontino from July 3 to 31, 2025: the Castello Caetani in Sermoneta, the cloister of the Valvisciolo Abbey, the Garden of the municipal Court of Sabaudia, and Latina. The program featured over twenty concerts with more than one hundred musicians, including soloists and ensembles, in a repertoire that ranged from Baroque to pop, between rediscoveries and rarities.

The opening evening on July 3 was entirely dedicated to the French pianist and composer Louise Dumont Farrenc (1804-1875), 150 years after her death. On July 15 and 16, the International Contemporary Music Meetings were held between the Castello Caetani and Palazzo Ada Caetani in Sermoneta, while the masterclasses brought young talents from all over the world to the Lepini village as they do every summer. The final concert took place on Thursday, July 31 at 9 PM at the Castello Caetani.
