Ponti Polentone Festival

The 455th edition of the Ponti Polentone Festival took place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, confirming its status as one of the most cherished events in the Asti Langa. Polenta cooking began at 7:00 AM; from 9:00 AM, the market, charity stall, vintage agricultural machinery exhibition, and painting competition registrations were open. At 11:00 AM, Holy Mass, accompanied by the Cassinese Band "F. Solia", preceded the 12:30 PM distribution of polenta with onion omelette and cod or gorgonzola. In the afternoon, from 2:30 PM, the folk group "Cuj da Ribote" performed, and at 3:00 PM, the traditional historical procession paraded through the village streets. The event saw over one thousand portions of polenta served.
