Edition 2025 — PDO Pepper Festival

The 2025 edition of the PDO Pepper Festival took place in Pontecorvo on Saturday, September 13, and Sunday, September 14, between Piazza IV Novembre and Piazza Belvedere, with the official opening in Piazza De Gasperi. Two days of tastings, agricultural and craft markets, creative workshops, cooking shows, technical conferences, and evening concerts, promoted by the Producers' Association with the patronage of the Lazio Region and the Municipality of Pontecorvo.

2025 PDO Pepper Festival

On September 13 and 14, 2025, Pontecorvo hosted a new edition of the festival dedicated to its Protected Designation of Origin 'cornetto' pepper. The central squares were filled with food stalls offering traditional and revisited dishes, booths of local agricultural producers, and craft markets.

On Saturday, the program started in the afternoon with creative activities for children, the opening of the stands, and the inaugural ceremony, followed by cooking shows accompanied by the BIFOLK band, a fire magic show, and a concert by the OFF ME Orchestra. On Sunday, after the opening of the food service at noon, workshops for children returned, along with the cooking show dedicated to the PDO Pepper, an aperitif with DUE.ZERO, and finally, the concert by VIOLET NOISE.

Alongside the festivities, seminars were held with agronomists, agricultural technicians, and university researchers aimed at farmers in the PDO area: a way to take stock of the state of the supply chain. The event was also funded through a regional grant obtained via LazioCrea.

Sunday, September 14: 12:00 PM opening of food service and markets; 4:00 PM activities for children; 6:00 PM cooking show dedicated to the PDO Pepper; 6:30 PM aperitif with DUE.ZERO; 8:30 PM concert by VIOLET NOISE.
