Edition 2025 — Pontassieve Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Pontassieve Carnival brought the main town and the surrounding villages to life with four days of costumes and confetti. The heart of the celebration was the Children's Carnival of Pontassieve and San Francesco, featuring the "Mascherina d'Oro" competition and the grand float parade on March 4th through the city center.

The 2025 Carnival

In 2025, the Pontassieve Carnival offered a rich calendar spread across the main town and the villages of the Valdisieve. The Sieci Carnival opened the festivities on Sunday, February 8, starting from Piazza Albizi and arriving at the Circolo 1° Maggio.

The "Mascherina d'Oro" competition was held on Saturday, March 1, at 4:00 PM at the Teatro Cinema Italia, rewarding the most beautiful and original costume in the tradition established in 1964. The event concluded on Tuesday, March 4 with the grand parade of floats: starting at 2:30 PM from Piazza Verdi in San Francesco, crossing the Ponte Nuovo and continuing to Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, in the heart of Pontassieve.
