Edition 2025 — Historical Carnival PSM

The 115th edition of the Pont-Saint-Martin Historical Carnival animated the town in the Lower Aosta Valley with the procession of historical characters, the Chariot Race of the insulae, and the traditional burning of the Devil on the Roman Bridge. A week of parades, dances, and shows celebrating the legend of the bridge over the Lys.

The 2025 edition of the Pont-Saint-Martin Historical Carnival confirmed the charm of one of the oldest events in the Aosta Valley. The procession of historical characters — Bishop Saint Martin, Satan, the Roman Consul, the Nymph of the Lys — accompanied the festive days, from the official presentation to Shrove Tuesday.

Among the highlights were the Chariot Race of the eight insulae, the parade of allegorical floats, and the grand finale with the burning of the Devil and the pyromusical show on the Roman Bridge, which concluded on March 4, 2025. An event that attracts visitors from all over the region and neighboring Piedmont each year.
