Edition 2025 — Polta Festival

The 21st edition of the Polta Festival took place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM, in the historic center of Pacentro (Piazza Umberto I). Organized by the Pro Loco of Pacentro with the Polta Festival Association and the patronage of the Municipality, the evening celebrated the traditional peasant dish made of beans, potatoes, and cabbage, accompanied by wine and local products, with live music and festivities for all ages.

Polta Festival 2025 — 21st edition

On Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 8:00 PM, the historic center of Pacentro hosted the twenty-first edition of the Polta Festival in Piazza Umberto I. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Pacentro together with the Polta Festival Association and under the patronage of the Municipality of Pacentro, featured the tasting of polta, the humble Abruzzo dish prepared with beans, potatoes, and cabbage sautéed in a pan with oil, garlic, and chili pepper.

Alongside the signature dish, the stalls offered local wine and regional products, while live music accompanied the evening through the alleys of the Majella village. Admission was free.
