Edition 2025 — Polpette in Festa

The 2025 edition of Polpette in Festa, presented by local press as the sixth edition, took place from August 17th to 19th, 2025, in the Santa Maria del Castello hamlet of Vico Equense, starting at 7:00 PM. Three evenings of good food, music, and panoramic walks, promoted by the La Punta del Vento Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Vico Equense.

Polpette in Festa 2025

From August 17th to 19th, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM, the mountain hamlet of Santa Maria del Castello, in Vico Equense (Naples), hosted the 2025 edition of Polpette in Festa, presented by local press as the sixth edition of the event.

For three evenings, the stalls set up in the village offered tastings of meatballs prepared according to local traditional peasant recipes and reinterpreted variations, along with other local specialties. The program alternated live music and artistic entertainment with panoramic walks to discover the village, set against the backdrop of the Lattari Mountains and the Amalfi Coast.

The organization was handled by the La Punta del Vento Association, with the patronage of the Municipality of Vico Equense, as part of the summer events that animate the hillside hamlets of the territory every year.

Programme

Three evenings, from August 17th to 19th, 2025, with food stalls opening at 7:00 PM in the Santa Maria del Castello hamlet: tasting of traditional peasant-style meatballs, in sauce and fried, and reinterpreted variations, along with local specialties and products. Every evening featured music and artistic entertainment; during the three days, guided walks were held to discover the village and the panoramic viewpoints. Local press did not publish a detailed hour-by-hour program or the names of guest artists.
