Polpetta Festival 2025: the seventh edition

On August 18 and 19, 2025, Piazzale Piscina in Poggiardo (LE) hosted the seventh edition of the Polpetta Festival – Food & Sound, with free admission. The absolute star was the meatball, offered by the stalls in classic, innovative, and gourmet versions: in tomato sauce, with Negroamaro, seafood, vegetable, fried, or served in a sandwich, alongside Puglian food and wine excellence and local and international specialties.

The two evenings combined gastronomy, a craft market, a dedicated children's area, and live music. On stage, groups of pizzica salentina and folk music such as Alla Bua and Zimbarìa alternated with bands like I Polaroid and Nessuna Pretesa, keeping the square dancing until late at night.
