Edition 2025 — City of Music
Tribute to Domenico Modugno — Great Artists, Festive Brass Bands (September 5-7, 2025)
The second edition of the project brought three days of concerts and musical incursions to Piazza Suor Maria Laselva in Polignano a Mare, province of Bari, starting at 9:00 PM with free admission. Great names of Italian songwriting took turns on stage, while the streets of the village came alive with traditional festive brass bands.
- Concerts by Vinicio Capossela, La Niña, Paola Turci, Renzo Rubino, and Peppe Voltarelli
- The Sanremo Symphony Orchestra with the participation of Gigliola Cinquetti
- Stories told by journalist Gino Castaldo
- Daily, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, incursions by Apulian brass bands led by Renzo Rubino through the streets of the center to Piazza Suor Maria Laselva
The event, promoted by the Municipality of Polignano a Mare with the Puglia Region and Puglia Culture, under the artistic direction of Stefano Senardi, confirmed Polignano as a symbolic place for Italian songwriting.
