Edition 2025 — Polentone di Retorbido

In March 2025, the Polentone di Retorbido renewed its centuries-old tradition with the free distribution of polenta and salami in the town centre, accompanied by allegorical floats, craft stands, and street musicians, in a tribute to the peasant culture of Oltrepò Pavese.

The 2025 edition of the Polentone di Retorbido confirmed the vitality of one of the oldest festivals in Oltrepò Pavese. In the town centre, the Nuova Pro Loco organised the free distribution of polenta and salami prepared in the copper pot, the symbolic moment of the festival.

Around the polenta ritual, the day featured a parade of allegorical floats, craft stands, street musicians, and activities related to the figure of Bertoldo, drawing visitors from all over the Pavia area to Retorbido.
