Edition 2025 — Polentata Paesana

For 2025, Rocca di Cambio once again renewed its Polentata Paesana at the beginning of the year, marking the end of the Christmas holidays. The Pro Loco organized the evening at the former municipal kindergarten, featuring steaming polenta, gnocchetti with beans, and the traditional pizza sfogliata, confirming an event now eagerly awaited by residents and vacationers on the Altopiano delle Rocche.

The 2025 Polentata Paesana upheld the tradition of the Polenta Festival in Rocca di Cambio, held in early January, starting at 7:00 PM at the former municipal kindergarten. The Pro Loco offered polenta with sausages, gnocchetti with beans, and pizza sfogliata, the village's typical dessert.

As every year, the festival was a moment of great conviviality for the community of the highest village in the Apennines, in the heart of the winter on the Altopiano delle Rocche, in the province of L'Aquila.
