Edition 2025 — Polenta Festival
In 2025, Sant'Angelo del Pesco again celebrated the Polenta Festival on August 13th, with frascatelli made from corn polenta, beans, and pork rind served in the piazza. A festive evening that, since 2016, revives the gastronomic traditions of the highest Molise village, a few days before the San Rocco feast.
The Polenta Festival in 2025 renewed its appointment on August 13th in Sant'Angelo del Pesco (IS), dedicated to frascatelli: corn polenta with beans and pork rind, cooked according to the traditional recipe. Born in 2016 to revive the village's lost traditions, the festival enlivened the village's piazza with food stalls, music, and conviviality, preceding the San Rocco feast on August 16th by a few days.
