Polenta Festival

The twentieth edition

During the weekend of November 8 and 9, 2025, the Polenta Festival in Nerola, in the province of Rome, reached the milestone of its twentieth edition. The food stands in Piazza San Sebastiano operated with continuous hours from 12 PM to 5 PM on both days, under the direction of the ACN - Nerola Cultural Association with the patronage of the Municipality.

The 18-euro set menu included polenta topped with sauce, local artisanal sausage, and pork spare ribs, served in the traditional wooden scifetta that visitors could take away as a souvenir, with half a liter of water and a glass of local wine; a vegetarian option was available upon request. Accompanying the main dish were bruschetta with Nerola extra virgin olive oil and Nerola olive pâté, French fries, crêpes, and homemade desserts.

Around the table, there was a market featuring artisans and local producers, live music, and walks in the medieval historic center at the foot of the Orsini Castle. To facilitate access, the organization provided free parking with a shuttle service on both days.
