Edition 2025 — Poggio Picenze in Blues

The 2025 edition of Poggio Picenze in Blues, the twentieth in its history, took place on July 24 and 25, 2025, at the municipal amphitheatre of Poggio Picenze (AQ). Directed by Francesco Cerasoli, it brought international blues to the stage with free evening concerts, amidst a village atmosphere, community spirit, and typical Abruzzese flavors.

Poggio Picenze in Blues 2025 — the twentieth edition

The twentieth edition of Poggio Picenze in Blues was held on July 24 and 25, 2025, at the municipal amphitheatre, next to Piazza Salvatore Massonio, in the Municipality of Poggio Picenze, province of L'Aquila. The artistic direction was curated by Francesco Cerasoli, leading the festival for the fourth consecutive year.

The program featured internationally renowned artists: on Thursday, July 24, Crystal Thomas, a Louisiana blues singer and winner of the 2020 Living Blues Award, took the stage; on Friday, July 25, it was the turn of Cros, a Grammy-nominated American musician, and the British singer and guitarist Ian Siegal. As per tradition, the concerts were free of charge, accompanied by food stalls serving local products and Abruzzese arrosticini.
