Edition 2025 — Porchetta Festival

The 75th edition of the Poggio Bustone Porchetta Festival took place on October 4-5, 2025, in the historic center of the Rieti village. Two days dedicated to local porchetta, prepared according to the recipe handed down since 1951, with food stalls managed by the Pro Loco, typical Sabina products, live music, and the usual setting of the Franciscan Holy Valley.

Porchetta Festival 2025: the 75th edition

On the weekend of October 4 and 5, 2025, Poggio Bustone celebrated the 75th edition of its Porchetta Festival, a fixed stop on the autumn culinary calendar of the Province of Rieti. The Pro Loco stalls, set up between the Giardini di Marzo and the alleys of the historic center, served porchetta prepared with the local recipe, accompanied by typical Sabina products.

As per tradition, the event combined gastronomy with moments of live music and entertainment for the village, with an audience arriving from the Rieti area, Umbria, and Rome. The edition served as a prelude to the 2026 milestone, the year in which the festival reaches its 76th edition, coinciding with the Franciscan celebrations of the eighth centenary.
