Poggi e Buche – Montepulciano Vintage Cycling Event

2025 Edition — The Fourth

The fourth edition of Poggi e Buche was held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, starting from Montepulciano, confirming the growth of the event: over 140 participants in wool jerseys and on vintage bicycles, compared to about 120 the previous year. The four loop routes — of 116, 94, 59, and 23 km — alternated between asphalt and white gravel roads, crossing the territories of Pienza, Monticchiello, Torrita di Siena, San Quirico d'Orcia, Sarteano, and Castiglione d'Orcia, in the heart of the Val d'Orcia and Valdichiana Senese.

The event, organized by ASD Cerro Bike with the support of the Municipality of Montepulciano and in collaboration with UISP Siena and the Vivi Montepulciano association, once again combined sport, landscape, and Tuscan food and wine tradition.
