Poets' Tournament

The fifth edition of the Poets' Tournament took place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 10 AM to 10 PM, in the cloister of the Convento dei Padri Riformati in Pulsano (TA). The sixteen finalists — chosen from over eighty unpublished collections — faced off in an intense literary marathon open to the public. A novelty this year was the introduction of a popular jury alongside the technical one, to enhance the direct relationship between poets and spectators. The technical jury was led by poet and critic Antonio Bux, a finalist at the Premio Strega Poesia 2024, supported by vice-president Barbara Gortan and numerous industry experts. The competing works were published by G.C.L. Edizioni in a dedicated series. Admission was free and open to all.

Among the sixteen finalists were Mauro Barbetti, Elia Belculfiné, Gianluca Chierici, Gabriella Cinti, Luca Crastolla, Antonietta De Luca, Mara Di Noia, Griselda Doka, Carol Guarascio, Stefania Iaquinta, Cosimo Lamanna, Pasquale Lenge, Francesco Mola, Roberta Sirignano, Giuseppe Vetromile, and Michele Zacchia.
