Poesia in Piazza

The first edition of Poesia in Piazza took place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in Viarigi (AT), in the former church of San Silverio. The inaugural event, initiated by the Municipality of Viarigi together with Edizioni Joker, marked the birth of a festival designed to bring poetry to the people.

The program included the awards ceremony for the poetry competition reserved for local students, followed by readings by emerging and established poets, thematic recitals, and discussion sessions. As emphasized by Mayor Francesca Ferraris, the ambition was to make poetry a "shared heritage," a goal that laid the foundations for subsequent editions.
