Edition 2025 — Placentia Half Marathon

The 28th edition of the Placentia Half Marathon was held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, with over 1800 participants, covering the 21.097 km from Piazza Cittadella to the finish in Piazza Cavalli. A day of sport and solidarity for UNICEF, with victory for Kenyan Castor Mogeni and Italian Marika Accorsi.

The 28th Placentia Half Marathon, run on May 4, 2025, brought together over 1800 runners on the streets of Piacenza. Among the men, Kenyan Castor Mogeni won in 1h02'50", ahead of Thunku Muchai and Italian Stefano Massimi. In the women's race, Marika Accorsi triumphed in 1h13'25". Local Piacenza runners Elia Rebecchi and Tania Molinari were the winners. The race, which started from Piazza Cittadella with the finish in Piazza Cavalli, confirmed its international and solidarity character for the Piacenza Committee for UNICEF.
