Edition 2025 — Pizzonda Festival

On August 10, 2025, Civitella Messer Raimondo hosted the thirtieth edition of the Pizzonda Festival in Piazza Belvedere. The evening, with the slogan 'Fried tradition and music among the Majella panoramas', celebrated the typical Abruzzo pizz'onta with food stalls and live musical entertainment. The event was part of the 'A Summer among the Hospitable Villages' summer program of the Costa dei Trabocchi Destination.

Pizzonda Festival 2025 — Thirtieth edition

The thirtieth edition of the Pizzonda Festival took place on August 10, 2025, in Civitella Messer Raimondo, in the province of Chieti, at Piazza Belvedere. The evening, summarized by the slogan "Fried tradition and music among the Majella panoramas", offered the typical pizz'onta — pizza fried in oil — in its various versions, accompanied by live music.

The event was included in the A Summer among the Hospitable Villages program, promoted by the Costa dei Trabocchi Destination, which highlighted events and traditions of the villages in the hinterland and the Chieti coast. The milestone of thirty years confirmed the Pizzonda Festival as one of the most iconic gastronomic events of the Abruzzo village.
