Edition 2025 — Pizzica in Festa

In July 2025, Pizzica in Festa – Salento Flavors Festival returned to Sternatia, at the Villa Comunale, for the customary summer appointment with pizzica music and Salento cuisine. Organized by the Pro Loco of Sternatia with the patronage of the Municipality, the event featured evenings of live folk music, dancing to the rhythm of tambourines, and food stalls with traditional Griko specialties, with free admission, in the heart of Grecìa Salentina in the province of Lecce.

The 2025 edition of Pizzica in Festa – Salento Flavors Festival took place in July at the Villa Comunale of Sternatia, confirming the event's commitment to celebrating Salento folk music and the traditions of Grecìa Salentina. As is customary, the evenings alternated between pizzica concerts, dance circles, and moments of collective celebration animated by the sound of tambourines.

Alongside the music, the star was the gastronomy managed by the Pro Loco: 'pizzicata' bruschetta, rustic platter, the typical aspri-ce-mavri, plammi, pittule, and pasticciotto, accompanied by Salento wines. With free admission and an audience of families and enthusiasts, the event reaffirmed its role as a landmark of the summer in Sternatia, Apulia.
