Pistoia Giallo Festival

The 15th edition of the Pistoia Giallo Festival was held from April 11 to 14, 2025, with the theme "The Languages of Crime Fiction," dedicated to exploring the numerous plots and complex codes through which mystery stories are intertwined. The San Giorgio Library served as the headquarters for the event.

Among the more than thirty authors hosted were Maurizio De Giovanni, a writer and screenwriter whose novels inspired television series such as Il commissario Ricciardi and I Bastardi di Pizzofalcone, and journalist Alessandro Robecchi, who presented his new book in preview. Actor Alessio Vassallo, who plays the young commissioner Mimì in The Young Montalbano, was also present. The edition concluded with the award ceremony for the tenth edition of the national literary competition Giallo in Provincia.
