Pistoia-Abetone Ultramarathon 2025 — 48th edition
The 48th edition took place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, starting from Piazza del Duomo in Pistoia and finishing at Abetone, along the 50 km uphill route that climbs from the city's 65 meters to the 1,388-meter summit. Eight hundred athletes completed the premier race.
Among the men, Matteo Lucchese won in 3h43'15", claiming his fourth success after those in 2015, 2016, and 2019. Among the women, Daniela Valgimigli triumphed for the first time in 4h12'15". In 2025, the event once again confirmed its role as a classic of the Italian ultramarathon scene and a great sporting celebration for the Pistoia Mountains.
