Pirate Carnival

The Pirate Carnival of Belgirate confirms year after year its festive and family-friendly formula on the shores of Lake Maggiore, in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola. The event, animated by the Pro Loco Belgirate and local associations, combines a convivial lunch based on local products, team games in the historic center, and moments dedicated to children, in a pirate atmosphere that makes this Piedmontese Carnival festival unique. The setting of the Lungolago Prini, with the lake waters and mountains in the background, gives the day a special charm and confirms Belgirate as a pleasant destination even in the winter months.
