Piovera Orchidea

The 2025 edition of Piovera Orchidea, dedicated to the theme of Water, was held from April 4 to 6 at the Castle of Piovera, in the municipality of Alluvioni Piovera (AL). After the opening on Friday afternoon and an initial technical course, the weekend alternated lessons on home cultivation, pollination, and water management, while games and activities in the Old Workshop entertained children in collaboration with the Alessandria Botanical Garden and the RNA association. Among the side events, the presentation of the new Guide to the Orchids of Piedmont and a sensory trail dedicated to native Italian wild orchids as part of the LIFEorchids project, with the Biodiversity Guardians.
