Pilgrimage to the Hermitage of Santa Cecilia

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Pilgrimage to the Hermitage of Santa Cecilia took place on Tuesday, August 5th, in Volano (TN). The morning gathering was set in Via Roma, near the Church of San Rocco, with departure at 8:30 AM; at 9:30 AM, Holy Mass was celebrated at the 'Spiaz dele Strie', accompanied by the Santa Cecilia Liturgical Choir.

As per tradition, at the end of the celebration, the 'Pilgrim's Staff' was presented to the youngest and oldest participants, while Committee volunteers distributed drinks. The hermitage, accessible only with mountaineering equipment, remained open throughout the morning; in case of bad weather, the celebration was scheduled to take place in the Church of San Rocco.

The festivities continued in the evening at Parco Legàt, with the kitchen opening at 6:30 PM and music from 8:00 PM, in a spirit of community conviviality promoted by the Santa Cecilia Hermitage Committee of Volano.
