Edition 2025 — Pilgrimage Our Lady of Anglona
In 2025, the Pilgrimage of Our Lady of Anglona renewed the ancient rite which, every last Sunday of April, sees the faithful carry the statue of Our Lady on their shoulders from the sanctuary of Anglona to the cathedral of Tursi, along a route of over ten kilometers.
In 2025 too, numerous faithful took part in the Marian pilgrimage from Anglona to Tursi, in one of the most evocative rites of Ionian Basilicata. Promoted by the Diocese of Tursi-Lagonegro, the procession combined devotion, effort, and community identity, with prayer stops along the way and the welcoming of the statue in the town's cathedral.
