Pigneto Film Festival (Cine-Residency)

In the autumn of 2025, the Pigneto Film Festival confirmed its role as a widespread laboratory in the Pigneto district of Rome, in the Lazio region. The Cine-Residency brought together over one hundred people, including directors, technicians, and actors, creating five original short films shot entirely in the neighborhood streets based on a secret theme.

The competing works debuted at the premiere on October 11, 2025, at Largo Venue, while the Nuovo Cinema Aquila hosted a special evening dedicated to new Italian cinema, featuring a selection of short films by young authors. The season concluded with final events in December, confirming the Pigneto Film Festival as one of the most vibrant appointments in Roman independent cinema.
