In Scorzè, a municipality in the province of Venice in the Miranese area, Carnival is called Pigliatutto: a name that evokes the playful and popular spirit of the festival, with tournaments, prizes, and fun for everyone. The event enlivens Via Roma and the town center with a formula that combines tradition, games, and entertainment.

A festival for all ages

The program alternates moments dedicated to children and events for adults:

• Shows by street artists, acrobats, face painting, and baby dance for the little ones
• Finals of the scopone and foosball tournaments
• Music, entertainment, and diffused fun along the town's streets
• The evening parade of allegorical floats, the most anticipated moment of the day

Part of the Metropolitan Carnival of Venice

The Pigliatutto Carnival is part of the Metropolitan Carnival of Venice circuit, the network connecting the mainland carnivals of the Metropolitan City. The floats built by local schools and groups — such as those from the Manzoni School in Cappella di Scorzè — also participate in the metropolitan parades, a sign of a deep-rooted and widely participated carnival tradition.

Organization and access

The event is organized by the Municipality of Scorzè together with Pro Loco Scorzè and Confcommercio del Miranese. Admission is free.
