Edition 2025 — "Pietro Tavani" Competition and Grape Festival
2025 Edition
The fourth edition of the "Pietro Tavani" Organetto and Diatonic Accordion Competition was held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Municipal Theatre of Atri, starting at 9:30 AM with registration confirmation and the start of auditions. Organized by the Associazione Rione San Domenico in collaboration with A.M.I.SA.D. APS, the competition featured four sections — Organetto, Diatonic Accordion, Diatonic Accordion Plus, and Over 50 — serving as an official qualifier for the 2026 Italian Championship with the awarding of the "Pietro Tavani" Trophy.
On Sunday, September 21, the town celebrated the Grape Festival: decorated floats gathered at 2:30 PM at Piazzale San Domenico and paraded through the historic center to Piazza Duchi d'Acquaviva, where the most beautiful and original ones were awarded at 6:00 PM. A two-day event that combined the great tradition of Abruzzo organetto music with the rural culture of the grape harvest.
