Edition 2025 — Literary Emporium

The thirteenth edition of the Pienza Literary Emporium was held from June 6 to 8, 2025, in the Renaissance village of the Val d'Orcia. Three days dedicated to the written word, weaving together literature, current affairs, journalism, and comics, with established authors and new voices of the Italian publishing scene hosted among the UNESCO-listed squares and courtyards of the town.

The 2025 edition of the Pienza Literary Emporium, the thirteenth, was directed by Giorgio Nisini and promoted by the Compagnia del Teatro Cultural Association - Caffeina Eventi. The festival opened on Friday, June 6, with journalist and writer Agnese Pini and her book "La verità è un fuoco" (Garzanti).

Guests over the three days included Teresa Ciabatti, Eraldo Affinati, Serena Dandini, Roberto Cotroneo, Giulia Caminito, Silvia Ballestra, Mario Tozzi, Antonio Monda, Maurizio Mannoni, Alessandro Preziosi, Nichi Vendola, and Elena Kostioukovitch, in a program that traversed different languages and genres in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, in the province of Siena.
