Edition 2025 — Serenate Notturne

The 25th edition of the Piccole Serenate Notturne took place in Vallerano from August 20 to 30, 2025, with free concerts in Piazza dell'Oratorio at 9:30 PM. A special edition that celebrated twenty-five years of music, memory, and magic in the Tuscia village, closing on August 30 with the 18th Notte delle Candele and its one hundred thousand flames.

Twenty-five years of serenades in Vallerano

The 2025 edition marked a quarter-century of the festival promoted by the Vallerano Department of Culture. From August 20 to 30, Piazza dell'Oratorio hosted four evenings of free music, all at 9:30 PM.

Opening the festival on August 20 was the Taranto-based trio Yaràkä with their project «Curannera», inspired by the archaic figure of the Southern Italian folk healer, featuring ritual chants and Mediterranean rhythms. On August 26, the Ensemble 400 presented «Contre le temps», a journey through medieval and Renaissance repertoires performed on period instruments; on August 28, it was the turn of the Neapolitan group Sparatrapp with their «Musica Medicamentosa», blending street music and musical theater. The grand finale took place on August 30 with Orchestralunata and «Una giostra al contrario», coinciding with the 18th Notte delle Candele, which lit up the village with over one hundred thousand candles, drawing thousands of visitors.
