Pianoconte Wine and Bread Festival

The 38th edition of the Wine and Bread Festival was held in Pianoconte (Lipari) from November 7 to 9, 2025, with the heart of the festivities in Piazza Santa Croce. The program combined food and wine tastings, the symbol of the festival, with cultural and community initiatives.

• Guided tours of the Mandarano farm wine press and mill and an Aeolian bread workshop with Pianoconte schools;
• Roving percussionists through the streets of Lipari and Pianoconte with the group Panta Rei;
• Popular tournaments and the final of the youth 5-a-side football tournament;
• "Cu vinu 'nta piazza" evening with bread, sausage, and Aeolian specialties, folk music, and a concert by the group Urban 5.

Organized by the A.C.R.S. Terme di San Calogero, the 2025 edition confirmed the festival as the longest-running event in the Aeolian archipelago, celebrating the culture of wine, bread, and the rural traditions of Lipari.
